In the wake of his remarkable performance in the initial Test against India, English batter Ollie Pope has seen a commendable surge in his career-high rating, catapulting 20 places to secure the 15th position.
Furthermore, Kane Williamson, the seasoned batter from New Zealand, maintains his dominance as the top-ranked Test batter globally.
Additionally, Australia’s opener, Usman Khawaja, has climbed two places to secure the eighth spot in the rankings following an exceptional half-century in the opening innings of the second Test against the Caribbean team at the Gabba.
Regrettably, star Indian batter Virat Kohli, absent from the first Test and slated to miss the second Test against England, has slipped to the sixth position in the rankings, trailing just behind Babar Azam.
